
Chulucanas is a city district of Peruvian capital of Chulucanas, while the province Morropón in the department of Piura. It is located 49 kilometers east of the city of Piura and a height of 92 meters. The city is made up of 9030 homes. Geographically lies next to the first foothills of the Andes mountains piurana flat and within the yunga of tropical dry forest. Chulucanas is known for hosting big family of potters of origin "Tacllan" indigenous ethnic group originating in Piura, are famous for their ceramics customs and mestizo. This pottery has been declared as a representative product of Peru. Among their most important productive activities are the cultivation and export of fruits like mango and lemon, which together with its significant production of ceramics has made him assert the right to be called "capital of mango, lemon and ceramics."
